A Senior Meteorological Officer heads the Dominica Meteorological Service. A team of Meteorological Officers assist in the operations of the Canefield and Douglas-Charles Met Offices. All Officers are World Meteorological Organization (WMO) Certified; training and certification are done at and by the Caribbean Institute for Meteorology and Hydrology, Barbados - the WMO Regional Meteorological Training Centre.
ELMT = Entry Level Meteorological Technician, MLMT = Mid Level Meteorological Technician, SLMT = Senior Level Meteorological Technician.

Mr. Alexander joined the Meteorological staff in 1992 as an ELMT. He is now an SLMT. He is also the Senior Meteorological Officer (Ag.).

Mrs. Bazil-Lawrence came into the service in 1994 as an ELMT. In April 2011 she graduated as an MLMT and specialized in Hydrology.

Mrs. Garraway-McPherson initiated service in 2001 as an ELMT. In April 2009, she graduated as an MLMT and specialized in Instruments.

Mrs. Marcellin-Honore joined the service in February 2004 as an ELMT. In April 2008, she graduated as an MLMT and specialized in Climatology.

Mrs. Rocque-Carriere joined the service in March 2005 as an ELMT. She graduated as an MLMT in November 2013 and specialized in Instruments.

Mrs. Carrette-Joseph joined the service in April 2007 as an ELMT. She graduated as an MLMT in April 2012 and specialized in Applied Meteorology.

Ms. Laronde joined the service in March 2008 as an ELMT. She graduated as an MLMT in April 2014 and specialized in Hydrology.

Mr. James joined the service in September 2008 as an ELMT.

Ms. Bryan joined the service in February 2010 as an ELMT.

Ms Bannis joined the service in August 2010 as an ELMT.

Ms. Dubique joined the service in December 2020 as an ELMT (Temporary).
